2019 Presidential Candidate Debate Prabowo's Team Requests Live Broadcast All TV

BuletinDigital. The General Election Commission (KPU) will hold a debate on candidates for president and vice president starting on January 17, 2019. The plan, this debate will be held five times.

Director of Material and Debate of the National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo-Sandi Sudirman Said asked the KPU to cooperate with the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) to direct all television stations, especially national television which use public frequencies, to broadcast live debates conducted by the candidate pairs.

"This country is very broad. We want our brothers and sisters in all corners of the country to obtain objective information regarding their candidate pairs. Therefore all television stations that use public frequency must broadcast live all these paslon debates," Sudirman Said said in a written statement Wednesday (26 / 12/2018).

According to Sudirman, the interests of all the presidential and vice presidential debates were broadcast live by all television stations. Because the community has the right to know more about what the candidate candidate will do if he is elected president and vice president for the 2019-2024 period.

"The pair of presidential and vice-presidential candidates conveyed their ideas very important to the public. So that the public knew that the candidate knew well how to bring this great nation forward," he said.

Sudirman said, through the presidential-vice presidential debate program that was broadcast live, the public would know which candidate pairs really understood the problem and were able to present solutions to the nation.

"The public will understand, in what direction this nation will be brought by the future leaders. And more importantly, the public will know the extent to which the candidate masters the problems that occur in this country. If the candidate pairs stutter and do not master the problem, this will be "It's a big problem. Because people are like buying cats in sacks," he added.
