Meeting Ex-East Timorese Fighters, Prabowo: Poor Your Fate Now

Jurnal Update. Presidential candidate number 02 Prabowo Subianto held a meeting with approximately 1,000 former East Timorese fighters (currently East Timor) when he arrived in Atambua, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.

"I feel sorry for your fate at this time. Even though I have struggled a lot," he said to thousands of former East Timorese fighters in Atambua, Thursday, Thursday, December 27, 2018.
During the 30-minute meeting Prabowo said that he would pay attention to the lives of ex-Team fighters if he was given the opportunity to lead Indonesia.

"I am not asking for support from friends here, but I hope for support from all so that I can lead Indonesia," he said.

The arrival of the number one person from the Gerindra Party to Atambua aims to attend the National Joint Christmas Party Gerindra event held by the wing of the Gerindra party of the Great Indonesian Christian Movement (Gekira).

When arriving at the A.A airport. Bere Tallo, Atambua, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Prabowo was immediately welcomed by a number of former East Timorese fighters including Rui Lopez and Silvino Taran who had been fellow fighters in 1976.

Prabowo also visited the Seroja Heroes Cemetery in Atambua and sprinkled flowers and prayed for a moment to honor the fighters who had struggled to fight for East Timor in the 1970s and 1980s.

Earlier the Chairperson of the Gerindra National Christmas Committee, Sarah Djojohadikusumo, told reporters in Kupang on Wednesday, saying that Christmas with the Gerindra national party in Atambua, Belu Regency, NTT was a missed meeting between Prabowo Subianto and Ex East Timorese fighters.

Furthermore, the reason for choosing the city of Atambua, Belu Regency was the location of the Gerindra National Joint Christmas because it wanted to show that Prabowo was a candidate for leaders who did have high tolerance.

"So far many have argued that Prabowo is an intolerant figure, but now we want to show that he is not like that," he said again.

Meanwhile the Chair of the Great Indonesia Christian Movement (Gekira) entrusted with organizing the celebration, Fary Djemi Francis said that approximately 1,000 to 2,000 people will attend the Joint Christmas celebration.
